About Us The Clausen House Thrift Shop supports Clausen House through sales of donated goods. Located in the Temescal district in Oakland on Telegraph Avenue we sell a huge variety of items including furniture, clothes (men, women, children), shoes, toys, housewares, electronics, collectibles (all kinds of vintage items), art and jewelry.

Donations to the store are tax deductible with certain limitations. We appreciate the good will of our donors but ask you to read the guidelines posted here before bringing your items. We provide a pick-up service for larger items within certain conditions (is the resale value of the items donated greater than the cost of the pick-up?).
